Transliteration: Labbayka Allahumma labbayk. Labbayka la sharika laka labbayk. Innal-hamda wan-ni‘mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak.

Seeing the Kaaba fills the heart with awe. It is the moment when tears naturally flow and the heart softens.

Duas During Tawaf

There is no specific dua fixed for every round of Tawaf. You can make any heartfelt dua. However, between the Yemeni corner and the Black Stone, the Prophet ﷺ recited:

Arabic: رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Transliteration: Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina ‘adhaban-nar.
English: Our Lord! Grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.

Tawaf is like wrapping your life around Allah’s mercy circling Him as the center of existence.

Dua at Maqam Ibrahim

After Tawaf, two rak‘ahs are prayed near Maqam Ibrahim. While praying:

Arabic (Quran 2:125):
Transliteration: Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla.
English: And take the place of Ibrahim as a place of prayer.

Standing here connects you to the sacrifice of Ibrahim (A.S.), who rebuilt the Kaaba with Ismail (A.S.).

Dua for Sa’i (Safa and Marwah)

When climbing Safa, the Prophet ﷺ recited this ayah:

Arabic (Quran 2:158):
Transliteration: Inna as-Safa wal-Marwata min sha‘a’irillah.
English: Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah.

Transliteration: La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamdu, wahuwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer.

Sa’i reminds us of Hajar’s (A.S.) desperate search for water. It is a symbol of hope, effort, and trust in Allah.

Dua on the Day of Arafat

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best dua is the dua on the Day of Arafat.”

FAQ’s

How do you get 100% dua accepted?

There is no guarantee that every dua will be accepted exactly as we ask, but Allah promises He always responds in the best way. To increase the chance of acceptance:

  • Make dua with full ikhlas (sincerity).
  • Start with praising Allah and sending salawat on Prophet ﷺ.
  • Raise your hands humbly.
  • Make dua with a pure heart and halal earnings.
  • Choose special times: the last third of the night, between Adhan and Iqamah, after obligatory prayers, on Fridays, and in sujood.

Sometimes Allah accepts immediately, sometimes He delays, and sometimes He replaces it with something better. That itself is acceptance.

How to make a dua list for Hajj?

A dua list helps you remember everything you want to ask while you are in Makkah and Madinah. Here’s how you can prepare it:

  • Write down personal needs (health, rizq, forgiveness).
  • Add duas for parents, children, family, and friends.
  • Include Ummah-wide duas (for Palestine, oppressed Muslims, global unity).
  • Add Quranic duas like Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah….
  • Keep it short and easy, so you can repeat them during Tawaf, Sa’i, and at Arafat.

Tip: Carry a small notebook or use your phone to organize your dua list.

What are the three powerful duas?

Among the most powerful and comprehensive duas are:

  1. Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina ‘adhaban-nar
(O our Lord! Grant us good in this world and in the Hereafter, and save us from Hellfire).
  2. Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni
(O Allah! You are Forgiving and love to forgive, so forgive me).
  3. La ilaha illa Anta, Subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin
(There is no god except You; Glory be to You; indeed, I was among the wrongdoers).

These three cover dunya, akhirah, forgiveness, and rescue from hardship.

What dua is read 7 times in morning and evening?

The Prophet ﷺ taught this dua for protection from harm:

Arabic: حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Transliteration: Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa, ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-‘arshil-‘azim.
Meaning: Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but Him. I rely on Him, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.

Whoever recites this 7 times in morning and evening, Allah will protect them from worries and hardship. (Abu Dawood)

Which surah fulfills a wish immediately?

There is no surah that guarantees “immediate” fulfillment, but many scholars mention Surah Al-Fatiha, Surah Al-Ikhlas (112), and Surah Al-Anbiya (21:87) (dua of Yunus A.S.) as powerful in asking Allah.

Reciting Surah Yaseen with sincere dua is also known as the “heart of Quran” and carries great blessings.

What is the powerful dua at night?

One of the strongest duas for the night is what the Prophet ﷺ taught when waking for Tahajjud:

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ…
(Full hadith in Sahih Bukhari).

Another simple but powerful night dua:
“Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, birahmatika astagheeth.”
(O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help).

Night is the time when Allah descends to the lowest heaven in the last third, asking: “Who is calling upon Me, so I may answer?” (Bukhari).

Conclusion

Hajj is a once in a lifetime journey. Every step is filled with duas that open the doors of mercy. Remember, duas are not only about memorized words but also about pouring your heart out to Allah.

Final Dua:
O Allah! Accept our Hajj, forgive our sins, and make us return as pure as the day we were born. Grant us sincerity, humility, and the strength to live as true Muslims.
